QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) has published the latest ranking of universities in Emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA) with the region’s top 150 universities on Wednesday 21st October 2015. It is an excellent result that the University of Szeged (USz) is ranked on the 13th place in this ranking. With this result USz has been in the top 10 percentage.
The QS University Rankings EECA ranking aims to highlight academic excellence in the region where many nations have placed a high priority on internationalizing their Higher Education systems and research. This ranking evaluates over 500 universities and highlights the leading 150 higher education institutions. To reflect the specifics of the regional universities this ranking is created based on nine indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, staff with a PhD, papers per faculty member, citation per paper, international faculty members, international students and web impact.
The University of Szeged - improving its previous position – ranked on the prominent 13th place. This position is best in Hungary.
